Nihzlet here to talk about two recently released games, and why you should play them. LA Noire is a self-explanatory 3rd-person action/intrigue style game released about 2 weeks ago(depending on where you live) by new developer Team Bondi and industry giant Rockstar Games. On the relatively opposite end of the gaming spectrum, we have Frozen Synapse, a turn-based real-time tactical game(it makes sense, trust me) made by indie developer Mode 7 Games.
Both games are well worth your money, assuming you're into that genre in the first place. Let's get a little more in-depth with LA Noire--I'll talk more about Frozen Synapse in an upcoming post.

Recent Projects
Hello,
This is ElfSpeaker. I'm an omni-gamer and my posts on Blog +1 will reflect that. My primary focus on Blog +1 will be tabletop wargames and pen and paper RPGs. However, that won't stop me from dabbling in video games, board games, card games, etc. I really try to do it all.
Anyway, I want to start off by showing you what I'm proudest of in my personal hobby: miniatures painting. I've been painting miniature for over fifteen years starting with 1:72 WWII soldiers. Now, I primarily painted Warhammer 40,000 models but I've recently picked up a bunch of models from Anima Tactics (more on that in a future post).

Inaugural Post!
Welcome, one and all, to BLOG +1.
My name is Nihzlet, founder of the +1 group. What you can expect to find here is postings by myself and many others, who will introduce themselves in time, on the rather broad subject of gaming.
Yes, gaming. All of it.
Computer games, console games, pen and paper RPGs, collectible card games(generally old ones), tabletop wargames, board games, and any others we get our hands on.
